How do I register? 

To register, you will need to start by creating an Uplifter account. Once you have done this you will be able to click the "Registration" button located on the top right side of the page. On the registration page, you will select the appropriate age level and then skill level. After you find the correct category you will be able to look though times and days to pick what class time works best for you. What level do I register my child for?

If your child has never attended a gymnastics class, they will need to register for a Level 1 class. If you and your child are coming from a different gym, please email your report card to: info@langleygymnastics.ca.

 

Example of class names  for specific age groups:

  • 1 Year Old Child - Wee Waddlers
  • 2 Year Old Child - Parent and Tot
  • 3 Year Old Child - 3 Year Old Level 1

 

What happens if a class Is cancelled? 

If the class is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be no credit issued. Examples include weather closure, power outage, etc. If your class is cancelled due to a coach absence, you will receive a credit on your account within 5 business days. You will be able to use your credit towards future payments or classes.

 

What Is the LGF Membership cost and how long is it valid? 

Our LGF Membership is $25 and is an annual fee valid from September 1st - August 31st each year.

 

What Is the GBC Fee and how long is It valid for? 

The GBC membership and insurance fee is a mandatory fee in order to participate in any gymnastics activity at LGF. It is an annual fee valid from September 1st - August 31st each year. For more information on GBC insurance coverage, click here: https://gymbc.org/insurance-faqs/

 

What if I don't pay my fees in time? 

If selecting monthly installments, your payment will be taken on the 1st of every month. LGF will contact you if payment has not gone through and you will have one week to resolve your missed payment. If payment is not completed, you will be charged a $25 administrative fee.

 

Can I transfer classes? 

Yes, you can transfer into a different class up until 6 weeks after your class start date. A $10 admin fee to transfer classes will apply. Please contact our office via email info@langleygymnastiics.ca if you would like to change class times.

 

What is the withdrawal process?

You must email info@langleygymnastics.ca before the withdrawal deadline stating that you would like to withdraw. In your email please include your child's full name and specific class you wish to withdraw from. No verbal withdraws will be accepted & no payments will be stopped until the withdraw email is received. All members are eligible for a credit/refund of the pro-rated balance, minus a $25 admin fee. The withdrawal deadline date is specified on your registration confirmation.

 

What do I do If my credit card expires? 

Go into your Uplifter account and update your credit card information, it is your responsibility! Make sure this is done before the first of every month or else you will be charges a $25 late payment fee. 

 

I can't pick my child up on time, what do I do? 

Please call the office at (604)455-8845 and let our front desk now. If you know in advance that their is a possibility that you may be late for pick up, please let you child's coach kno.! If you are repeatedly late, or over 10 min late more than once, a $15 late pick-up fee will be charged to your Uplifter account.

 

My child says they are bored in their class, what do I do? 

Talk to their coach. Kindly express how your child is feeling. Our coaches are happy to modify training when possible.

 

Who do I talk to if I have questions or concerns that I think cannot be answered by my coach? 

You can request to speak with Jaye-Lynn, our Recreational Head Coach. We also have a parent feedback box beside the front office. 

 

What do I wear and bring to gymnastics? 

Come to gymnastics wearing comfortable and fitted clothing, with hair tied up and and out of the face. Please refrain from wearing jewelry, such as a necklace, bracelets and dangling earrings. Bring your water bottle and you are good to go!
